 2009 Backyard Hop Harvest Just a few pics of the 2009 hops just before harvest.
20 plants
2-3 bines/plant
10 varieties:
Northern Brewer (14.3oz)
Willamette ( 9.9oz)
Goldings ( 2.4oz)
Cascade ( 6.6oz)
Sterling (10.4oz)
Fuggles ( 3.4oz)
Mnt Hood ( 2.8oz)
Crystal ( 4.0oz)
Centennial........drying
Nugget............drying

Re: 2009 Backyard Hop Harvest good looking haul. the plants i grow out at UBC Farm unfortunately fell down before they were quite ready (though they were very close) due to their string breaking from all the weight. at least i was there to harvest them right away. can't wait to see how much dry weight i end up with.
